Under canvas
Camping on a heritage site
The camping is straightforward: bring your own tent, take a spacious pitch, and use the shower block, the toilets and the washing-up area. There is a car park.
What you get on top of an ordinary campsite is the site itself. The restored wagons and the Romany museum are here whether you are sleeping in a wagon or under your own canvas, and Clarence is on site either way.
Each pitch has its own kitchenette with a gas cooker and a hob or an oven, plus twin USB charging sockets. Firepits raised off the ground and barbecues are available, and there is a private seating area outside. Ten gallons of fresh drinking water are delivered to every pitch daily and replaced when the drum empties.
Caravans
Hard standing, with electricity on site
Bring your own caravan and park on the hard standing. Electricity is on site and available. You have the shower block, the toilets, the washing-up area and the car park like everyone else.
